Tell yourself you will work for just five minutes. Open the document, write one sentence, read one page. Getting started is the hardest part, and momentum usually takes over once you begin.

Remove the friction

Put your phone in another room. Use website blockers during study time. Set up your workspace the night before. The easier you make it to start, the less willpower you need.
