Staying Active on a Busy Schedule

You do not need a gym membership or two hours a day. Even a little movement can boost your mood, improve your sleep and help you concentrate.

Find what you enjoy

Walking, swimming, dancing, climbing — it all counts. The best exercise is whatever you will actually do. University sports clubs often have beginner sessions, and many are more social than competitive.

Build it into your day

Walk or cycle to campus. Take the stairs. Do a 15-minute stretch between lectures. Small habits are easier to maintain than grand fitness plans, and they add up over the week.
